Structured cabling system engineering regulations

(1) "Structured cabling system engineering standard" GB50311

In accordance with the composition of the international standard system, according to the missing part of China's cabling standards, the chapter on industrial environmental wiring has been added, but the data center cabling system and home wiring system are not included in the scope of this specification. In order to better implement the national "broadband China" strategic goal, this specification specifically adds the fourth chapter "optical fiber to the user unit", and separately proposed the system composition, equipment configuration, product selection, performance indicators and other content. In order to maintain consistency with national standards such as electrical construction, a greater space has been added to the content of installation design.

The changes in the content of the new standard regulations are as follows:

Supplement and improve terminology content.

1.  system design

· With reference to the international standard ISO/IEC 11801 edition. It Mainly reflected in the system's classification, network topology, system composition, cable length, system indicators and other aspects.

· According to the original specification, as a wiring project, the design should be completed in seven parts: work area, wiring subsystem, trunk subsystem, building group subsystem, equipment room, entrance room and management. However, it will strengthen the requirements for setting up the entrance line, and pay attention to the technical requirements for the access and installation facilities of the external network.

Supplement the classification and composition of the fiber cabling system.

· Considering project requirement, the product application, technological development, and the cost of the project and other factors, the building will use different category cables, information outlets, wiring modules, patch cables in different areas.

· Knowing the limits of the cable lengths in subsystems and the supported transmission distance in various network applications. Different subsystems and network applications require different cable lengths. Designers will ignore and misunderstand the importance of cable length. However, it is particularly important for the design of the wiring system. It is the key to ensuring the cable transmission performance.

· Shielded system design should be operative and practical

2.  system configuration

(3) Regulatory mandatory provisions

At present, there are only three mandatory provisions in the standards for the construction of integrated wiring systems. The following are separately introduced.

· In GB50311:

Added "4.1.1 In the area where the public telecommunication network has achieved optical fiber transmission, when the subscriber unit is installed in the building, the communication facility engineering must be constructed by means of fiber-to-subscriber units."

The implementation condition of this article is firstly that the transmission network of the public telecommunication network has adopted the optical fiber transmission system. This condition was not realized in some counties in Tibet except China. Most of the telecommunication transmission networks use the SDH optical fiber transmission method. If the optical fiber transmission system is not implemented between the switching centers, then the “fiber to the user” is difficult to achieve. .

The subscriber unit is defined as a user area that needs to directly interconnect with the public telecommunication network when occupying a certain space in the building and changing user or service usage. Generally refers to commercial and residential buildings with rental properties.

This article is a mandatory article and is based on the objectives of the "Broadband China Strategy" and Implementation Plan. It is proposed to accelerate the construction of broadband networks and ensure the effective implementation of the project. This specification proposes the use of "fibre-to-subscriber units" for the construction of communications infrastructure projects, that is, to meet the needs of users for high-rate, large-bandwidth data and multimedia services, and to adapt to the rapid growth of the demand for communications services at this stage and in the future; It can effectively avoid the frequent reconstruction and expansion of communication facilities; at the same time, it can provide users with the freedom to choose telecommunication service providers to create convenient conditions.

The new "4.1.2 Fiber-to-the-user-unit communication facility engineering design must satisfy the requirements for equal access of multiple telecom service providers and users of communication services in the subscriber unit can freely choose the requirements of telecom service providers."
